IATG invites you to join Tunnels and Gunners Tour, Georges Heights, Mosman 

About this event

Join us for a 90 minutes guided tour of Tunnels and Gunners. An experienced volunteer guide will lead us through two sets of demilitarised fortifications set within coastal bushland, including tunnels off limits to the general public. Stay on after the tour for lunch at Frenchy's Café.

Tunnels and Gunners Tour

On the Tunnels and Gunners Tour we will see heritage gun emplacements and walk through tunnels dating back from 1870. As well as hear stories about the Hospital on the Hill during WWI, while enjoying panoramic views of the harbour.

Tunnels and Gunners Tour features gun emplacements, underground tunnels and other military relics. Learn about Georges Heights, Mosman, how it once played a crucial role in the defence of Sydney Harbour.

Please note: moderate level of fitness is required. You will need to wear suitable walking shoes and use a phone torch or flashlight.

Cost

The tour cost is $16 for Professional and $20 for Affiliates [No refunds available] 

Stay on after the tour for lunch at Frenchy's Cafe, at own's expense.
