Duration:  Three hours

Cost: Free

  • Enjoy a guided tour of Newington Armory.
  • Hear stories of the operating days of the former Naval depot as you enjoy a walk through the 1897 Gunpowder Magazine and a journey aboard the Heritage Railway.
  • View workshops, storehouses, the armament exhibition and the Newington Nature Reserve.
  • The tour begins with a light lunch at the Mess Hall and briefing about the range of visitor experiences available at Newington Armory including tours, accommodation options and a range of recreational opportunities.

Book online by 24 April, unless all spots taken prior

Enclosed walking shoes are recommended as the walk includes some rough and steep sections. Bring a small water bottle for use during the tour.
