Touching and Describing
If you are interested in learning about Tactile Tours for vision- impaired people, Steve McAuley will be running a practical session on April 27 from 4.00pm to 6.30. Steve is a trained audio describer. In this session, we will be learning and practising how to describe objects to people who cannot see well. We will be doing part of the session in the Botanic Gardens and the rest in the Training Room at the Opera House. Bring a sleep mask if you have one. It can help when we practise.
